We're so excited to bring you this jam in collaboration with V Smiley Preserves.
This medium-hot, slightly sweet jam celebrates all that is fruity in the tomato. Heirloom Vermont organic tomatoes are gently simmered with chili peppers (including our Black Urfa Chili and Silk Chili Flakes) and finished with a touch of lemon juice, honey, and sea salt.
This jam is a perfect addition to a charcuterie and cheese board, spooned into biscuits or a topper for rice dishes or roast veggies. Use it where you'd use ketchup, as a marinade and in sauces.
But really, you should add it to your breakfast plate, nestled between eggs and hash browns.

"I’ve made tomato jam since starting V Smiley Preserves in 2013. The recipe morphed over time, reaching its current spicy, tangy, salty form after my partner Amy and I moved to Vermont where we could grow the tomatoes on the family farm where I grew up.

A seasonal item, this tomato jam is made with tomatoes grown by my partner Amy and other Vermont certified organic growers. The pepper mix includes Bulgarian Carrot Peppers from our farm, along with Black Urfa Chili and Silk Chili Flakes.
I use this jam in my home kitchen more than any other variety. I use it every/anywhere I'd use ketchup."
Have tried on cheese & meats, with eggs, on a burger and even Taylor Ham & cheese sandwich. Great stuff! I only wish they would make it in a larger size. :)
