Our first collaboration was a hit, so It's time for our second collaboration with the incredible BRINS Jam & Marmalade.
It all starts with wild blueberries that are slowly simmered with our wild Cured Sumac berries and a hint of lime juice. Each jar uses less sugar than typical marmalade, zero preservatives, and fresh fruit.
- Origin: California, USA
- Process: Blueberries simmered with sumac and lime juice
Ingredients: Blueberries (wild), Cane Sugar, Lime juice, Cured Sumac (sumac berries, salt), Pectin, Sea Salt
BRINS Jam & Marmalade was started in a tiny Brooklyn kitchen, making preserves out of the abundant care packages of backyard citrus and herbs sent from back home in Louisiana.
Serving size: 1 tablespoon (18g)
- Sugars (added)
This is a versatile addition to my pantry. It was delicious with gruyere cheese and smoked salmon. It was also delicious on pastry crust when topped with dark chocolate.
This is delightfully tart, a wake-up for toast or muffin.
I am trying to remember if I ordered it. I know I didn't receive it.
This marmalade has re-sparked my obsession saffron. In a land of berry jams, this beautiful collaboration really stands a cut above the rest. Will order again!
this jar holds a lovely melange of 2 flavors: the lemon is there as essential, zest without pucker. The saffron is deep, pure and totally integrated with the citrus. The fragrance is enticing, the consistency soft and spreadable yet still a gel integrity. The flavor blossoms on the tongue with complex undertones and is blessed with avoiding an excess of sugar. Brings joy to nectarines, earl grey tea, toast and my chicken and rice pilaf with dried apricot. Jar is too small.
