Our Salina Crystal Salt comes from the Syracuse Salt Co., a father-daughter team in the "Salt City." The natural brine from salt deposits left behind by an ancient ocean is carefully evaporated into crunchy, pristine salt crystals that are perfect for sprinkling over everything from steaks to brownies.

Our Black Lime & Chili Salt is a result of our Salina Crystal Salt hand-blended with our Black Lime and three different chilis for a seasoning that is savory, tart and just a little bit spicy. It'll become a staple in your kitchen!
Black Mineral Salt (2.5 oz. glass jar)
Black Mineral Salt (commonly called kala namak) is a classic ingredient in many South Asian dishes and is used in the practice of Ayurveda. The salt is mined in the Himalayas and then fired in a kiln at extremely high temperatures, hot enough to melt the salt and give it a scorched black color. The heat also changes the chemical composition, bringing out its beloved (and infamous) savory, tart and eggy aroma and flavor.
Zanzibar Black Peppercorns (1.7 oz. glass grinder-top jar)
Black pepper grows in bunches like grapes, on a climbing vine. Most black peppercorns are harvested while still green, and the drying process gives them their distinctive dark skin. Ours are allowed to ripen longer on the vine before being hand-picked and sun-dried, resulting in a rich chocolate-colored pepper berry with dense wrinkles and a bright, fruity spiciness.
Robusta Black Pepper (1.8 oz. glass grinder-top jar)
Our Robusta black peppercorns are grown by Dūng and Thanh, young Vietnamese farmers, using regenerative integrated agricultural techniques. We loved their Purple Peppercorns so much that we bought their entire peppercorn harvest this year. The Robusta Black Pepper is a combination of two heirloom pepper varieties, Vĩnh Linh (grown by Dūng) and Trâu Xanh (grown by Thanh). Together, the two types of sun-dried peppercorns hit a perfect balance of fragrance and flavor.
Fermented White Pepper (2.0 oz. glass grinder-top jar)
Our Fermented White Pepper comes from a family farm on the island of Bangka, grown by a farmer named Pak Sugiri and his son, Ilham. They're picked fresh and then fermented according to traditional methods, using the fruit of the fresh peppercorn. Highly prized in Indonesia but rarely found in the US, they add a deep umami flavor and funk to everything they touch.

Each pepper has such a unique flavor. Ea'sar peppercorns are more traditional-if an explosion of flavor is traditional! The zanzibar peppercorns are mild and fruity, wanting to be put on everything from potatoes to pasta, while the fermented white peppercorns are a mellow friend, subtly elevating each dish they touch. Amazing spices as always.
