Royal Cinnamon (1.8 oz glass jar): The same species as Saigon cinnamon (Cinnamomum loureiroi), Royal Cinnamon is an heirloom variety not widely harvested or exported, and it exemplifies the intense sweetness and spiciness for which Vietnamese cinnamon is prized. It's our best-seller.
Wild Mesquite (2.5 oz glass jar): Gluten-free, vegan and naturally sweet with no added sugars, mesquite powder is delicious simply stirred into hot milk and sipped like a hot cocoa. We also love adding it to the dough or batter of any baked good that could use a little cinnamon-y sweetness.
Morogoro Cacao (1.75 oz glass jar): Rich, nutty cacao that's great for sweets. Our raw cacao powder is made from organic cacao beans from the famous Kokoa Kamili cooperative in the Morogoro region of Tanzania. The beans are not roasted before grinding —they're fermented and sun-dried for a fruity, bright flavor.
Cloud Forest Cardamom (1.7 oz glass jar): Our cardamom is sweet and tart, reminiscent of summer fruits, fresh herbs and cut grass. The cardamom fruit turns yellow as it ripens and has a slightly softer, sweeter flavor than standard green cardamom, but is perfect in recipes that call for green cardamom.

Pemba Cloves (1.4 oz glass jar): Our cloves are hand-picked at the last possible moment before flowering, ensuring the largest size and most mature flavor, and then dried in the tropical sun. They have a bright, sweet intensity with a rich warmth and a numbing menthol buzz. Add whole to braised meat or mulled wine, or grind into desserts.
Sweet Allspice (2.0 oz glass jar): Our sweet allspice has a characteristic smoky warmth, reminiscent of toasted almonds and baked fruit. Smoked Star Anise (0.5 oz glass jar): Our star anise is picked by hand in the mountains near the border between Vietnam and China. The winter harvest of this incredibly flavorful ingredient yields slightly smaller fruits that are first dried over a wood fire and then being sun-dried. This process concentrates the natural sweetness of the fruit and highlights the rich, nutty licorice essence while also imparting a light smoked aroma. Add petals to stocks, braised meats, rice, teas and cocktails, or grind them up for desserts and baked goods.
Red Turmeric (1.9 oz glass jar): Our Red Turmeric comes from a cooperative of farmers in northern Vietnam, where it has a long history as both a medicinal and culinary ingredient. Very high in curcumin (more than 5%), it also has a sweet, rich flavor that's great in teas and smoothies, as well as stews and marinades.
