El Guapo made these delicious bitters using our Nyanza Vanilla, then aged them in freshly emptied rum barrels from Roulaison Distilling Co.
The result is a slightly sweet, well-balanced bitters with notes of sarsaparilla and nutmeg that are just as at home in an old fashioned or daiquiri as they are in a glass of sparkling water or lemonade. They're also a nice addition to baked goods like cookies and brownies, caramels and jams, and, well, in your morning coffee.

Used these bitters instead of the usual bitters for a batch of Old Fashions. Everyone was very pleased with the flavor, brought a new highlight to a favorite cocktail.
Great quality I do appreciate your generous discount I'm very pleased with the products I ordered Happy I'm supporting small farmers I recommend burlap and barrel to everyone I wish this company great success and the farmers
Love these vanilla bitters; I've been using them in my baked goods in addition to and sometimes as a substitute for vanilla extract. It brings out a subtle flavor that enhances cupcakes, brownies, muffins, etc. Love it!
Sometimes I just like to open the shaker top and take a deep breath XD So good!
Great addition to our liquor cabinet. We made a standard old fashioned with angostura and another with the barrel aged vanilla bitters and definitely could taste the difference. It has become my preferred bitters with certain bourbons!
