Our Holiday Feast Collection includes the spices that make our holidays a little bit warmer. Choose a set of 3 or 6 spices for yourself or to bring some holiday cheer to friends, coworkers, and family. The spices come packed in a beautiful gift box.
The set of 3 spices includes:
Royal Cinnamon (1.8 oz glass jar)
Our Royal Cinnamon has been harvested in the mountains around the ancient Vietnamese capital city of Huế for milennia. The same species as Saigon cinnamon, this is an heirloom variety not widely harvested or exported, and exemplifies the intense sweetness and spiciness for which Vietnamese cinnamon is prized. Use it in place of Saigon or other cinnamons in pastries and baked goods, or sprinkle into rich, savory meat or tomato-based dishes.
Buffalo Ginger (1.8 oz glass jar)
Our buffalo ginger is an heirloom ginger variety from a group of farmers in the mountains of northern Vietnam. Known for its fruity and floral aroma and powerful heat, this is a complex & flavorful ginger powder that will elevate baked goods, stews and curries, and beverages from hot drinks to cocktails.
Pemba Cloves (1.5 oz glass jar)
Our cloves are grown by our partner farmers on the small island of Pemba, which is famous for its cloves. They have a bright, sweet intensity with a rich warmth and a numbing menthol buzz. Add whole to braised meat or mulled wine, or grind into desserts.
The set of 6 spices includes everything above, plus:
Morogoro Cacao Powder (1.75 oz glass jar)
Our raw cacao powder is a fruity and nutty cacao that's great for sweets but is particularly delicious as a savory ingredient as an alternative to paprika in stews, chilis, and tomato sauces, where it adds sweetness and depth similar to caramelized onions, barbecue or soy sauce.
True Star Anise (0.5 oz glass jar)
Our star anise is picked by hand in the mountains near the border between Vietnam and China, grown by our partner farmer Chu Thi How and her cousin Hoang Thi Keo. They have a beautiful flavor and aroma perfect for both sweet and savory dishes. Add petals to stocks, braised meats, rice, teas and cocktails, or grind them up for desserts and baked goods.
Euphrates Mint (0.7 oz glass jar)
Our Euphrates Mint grows along the banks of the Euphrates River in southern Turkey, one of the oldest agricultural areas in the world. We were blown away by its sweetness, brightness and intensity. Crumble dried mint leaves into salads, grain dishes and tomato sauces or simply infuse in hot water for a fragrant mint tea.
