We've been big fans of BRINS Jam & Marmalade for a long time. So when Candice Ross, the founder, reached out about our saffron, we knew it was going to be good.
Thin sliced California Lisbon lemons are slowly simmered with our Herati Saffron to make this delightful marmalade. Each jar uses less sugar than typical marmalade, zero preservatives, and fresh fruit.

BRINS Jam & Marmalade was started in a tiny Brooklyn kitchen, making preserves out of the abundant care packages of backyard citrus and herbs sent from back home in Louisiana.
Candice drew inspiration for this marmalade from her time traveling through and working in the UAE and Qatar. The flavors were so bold, complex & subtle all at the same time.
Saffron was very abundant in the night souks. She was so struck seeing shops filled with heaps of saffron, and realizing she'd never fully understood spices before. She wanted to create a marmalade to complement the rice and meat dishes that she'd eaten while she was there.

This was the best idea. These two tastes go very well together and compliment everything from toast to cocktails; even as a glaze on a cooked dish. Highlg recommended and I may order more.
