For this spicy-sweet mango chutney, we teamed up with Brooklyn Delhi an Indian-American food brand founded by cookbook author Chitra Agrawal. A truly one-of-a-kind condiment, this chutney features our heirloom Kashmiri chili peppers (grown on a family farm in Pampore, Kashmir). The recipe is inspired by Chitra's grandmother’s mango chutney. It features juicy ripe mangoes, golden raisins, fresh ginger, lemon juice, warming spices and the sweet heat of the Kashmiri chili.
We've known Chitra for years, and we were thrilled to collaborate on this beautiful twist on a classic Indian condiment. This spicy, sweet, chutney complements most savory foods and is a fantastic addition to a cheese board, served with samosas, on grilled cheese or in a sandwich, with rice and curry, or with pork or fish dishes.
