Everything Bagel Pasta

"For this recipe, don't salt your pasta water or use more water than called for. This ratio will yield a perfectly silky, starchy water that will help us create a super creamy sauce. (If you're cooking the whole 16-oz. box of pasta, use 8 cups of water.)"
Ingredients

4 cups water

8 oz short pasta, such as elbows

5 oz cream cheese
- Everything Bagel Crunch, for topping
Directions
- In a large pot over high heat, bring water to a boil, then add in pasta. Let cook until al dente, stirring occasionally, 6 to 7 minutes. Reserve 1 cup pasta water, then drain pasta completely.Β
Return pasta to pot. With the heat off, add in cream cheese, stirring until smooth and evenly coating the pasta, 2 to 4 minutes. Gradually drizzle in reserved pasta water until your ideal consistency is achieved. (You will not need to use all of the water!)
Generously sprinkle with Everything Bagel Crunch right before serving.
