Spice Club FAQs:
Is there an initial fee for joining the club?
No, just the charge for the Spice Club boxes, which are mailed every 3 months and charged before they're mailed.
What's in the box?
You'll know what's in the box as soon as you open it. That's part of the fun! If you have concerns, questions or allergies, or if you’re not into surprises, please reach out. No spoilers, please!
I have allergies or dietary restrictions. Can you accommodate them?
The Spice Club is an assortment of new spices and new harvests, as well as delicious items from other food companies that we love. The items in the Spice Club will be plant-based and free of peanuts and tree nuts, but we cannot accommodate other allergies, sensitivities or restrictions. Some Spice Club items may contain honey. If you have serious food allergies or follow a specific diet, the Spice Club may not be ideal for you, and we recommend that you purchase your chosen products individually rather than as part of a surprise box.
Will the spices be available for purchase for us non-Club members?
Yes! The Spice Club will include spices before we've released them on our site. Not to worry — we'll be sharing them on our site as well.
Can I send this as a gift?
Yes! All of our Spice Club boxes ship at the same time, so we can't delay it or have it arrive early, but you can gift the subscription along our normal quarterly schedule (February, May, August, November).
Can I still be a member?
Yes. Our next shipment is in February 2022. If you sign up now, you'll be all set to receive the February shipment. You can cancel or update your address anytime before we ship your order.

- almond butter
I have to confess I wasn’t sure about signing up for the spice club. Would I get spices I already had? I was pleasantly surprised. Nothing I had, and all wonderful. I made the Summertime Grill Rub, used it on a chicken dish (shown) and my guests were blown away. We also got a partner’s bitters - which we really use and really love. Nice to go outside your comfort zone.
Amazing and delightful!
I have thoroughly enjoyed cooking with all the spices included in the first box and my family has enjoyed eating the meals! I was initially nervous about the Sun-dried tomato powder and bay leave powder, since I predominantly cook Indian food, but was able to quickly adapt them into our meals. The autumn spiced almond butter was delicious and the accompanied brownie recipe made a perfect Diwali treat! Looking forward to the next one!
Spice Club - Fall 2021
Like a box of magic - I can travel the world from my own kitchen. Thank you! xo
Nice mix in my spice package! Love the variety
Spice Club changed my life!
I anxiously await my box of spice surprises. Has really improved my creativity in the kitchen and encouraged me to try new flavors! I have a great trick when I want to try a new spice: crisp up a can of chickpeas in a little avocado oil on the stove top, then toss with sea salt and the new spice. Sometimes I split put the chickpeas into several bowls; trying out a new spice in each.
It's great to know where all the spices came with, and the pancake mix was popular. I especially appreciated that the salt in the lime chili salt came from a unique and clever small business in my home state.
All the spices were great. Still figuring all the ways to use them.
