"You don’t need to turn on the oven to make delicious granola—and yes, you will get large chunks of granola with this method! If you’re hankering for granola for breakfast, all you’ll need is 10 minutes on the stove. Bonus: the cardamom will make your kitchen smell absolutely amazing."
Ingredients
-
1 Tbsp butter
-
½ tsp Ground Cloud Forest Cardamom
-
6 Tbsp old-fashioned rolled oats
-
2 Tbsp Golden Crystal Turbinado Sugar
Directions
To a pan over low heat, add in all ingredients. Wait until the sugar is half-melted before stirring all ingredients together with a non-stick spatula, about 2 minutes. You will begin to smell the butter toasting the cardamom.
Continue stirring until sugar is fully melted. As it starts to caramelize, stir to coat the oats as evenly as possible in the caramel. Once the oats look glossy, remove from heat and transfer mixture to a shallow bowl.
Allow granola to cool completely before breaking into pieces.
