Ginger Date Chai

Ingredients
2 cups water

12 crushed Cloud Forest Cardamom pods

1-2 peeled layers of Pani Miris Cinnamon Quills

8 Pemba Cloves

2 Smoked Star Anise petals

6 Purple Peppercorns

10 Lucknow Fennel seeds
2 tsp Assam black tea
2 Tbsp Buffalo Ginger Date Sugar
1 cup whole milk (or non-dairy milk of choice)
Directions
In a small pot on the stove, bring spices (except for the Buffalo Ginger Date Sugar) and water to a simmer, and simmer for 7 minutes.
Add ginger date sugar and 2 tsp of black tea and simmer for 3 minutes, stirring often.
Add 1 cup of milk (or non-dairy milk) and simmer for 2-4 more minutes.
Pour through a strainer into mugs and enjoy!
