Ingredients
2 cups water
-
2 tea bags of Vanilla Baobab Black Tea
1 cup sugar (or adjust to taste)
-
1 tsp vanilla extract
-
¼ tsp nutmeg
Directions
Bring 2 cups of water to a boil, then add the tea bags. Let steep for 10 minutes. Once the tea has steeped, remove the tea bags.
Add sugar to the brewed tea while it’s still warm. Stir the mixture over medium heat until the sugar dissolves completely. Continue simmering for another 5–10 minutes until the liquid reduces slightly and thickens to a syrupy consistency.
Once the syrup has reduced, remove it from heat and stir in the nutmeg and vanilla extract.
Allow the syrup to cool, then transfer it into a sterilized jar or bottle. It can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
