FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What are my options for sending a gift card?
You can choose between emailing the gift card immediately, scheduling it to arrive on a specific date, or printing it out to give or mail to the lucky recipient.
When do I get the gift card?
We'll send you a confirmation email immediately after you place the order. If you chose to print the gift card yourself, you'll also get a separate email with the gift card. If you chose to email the gift card, it will go out on the scheduled date.
What can gift cards be used for?
Gift cards can be used for anything on our site other than our Spice Club. Since the Spice Club is a subscription, we cannot accept gift cards for it.
I received a gift card. How do I use it?
Add spices to your cart as you normally would. When you begin checkout, you'll see an area to enter your gift card code. Enter the full code and click "Apply." You'll see your order total update to reflect the gift card. If the gift card doesn't cover the order total, you can pay for the balance in all the regular ways.
What if I want multiple gift cards?
Sure! Just add a gift card to your cart, then repeat the process as many times as you'd like. After placing your order, you will receive a separate email for each gift card when it goes out.
Why isn't the gift card counted towards free shipping?
Since our gift cards are digital and don't need to be shipped, they don't count towards our free shipping minimum. Instead, the person receiving the gift card will get the full value of their order counted towards free shipping before the gift card balance is applied.
If the gift cards would count towards free shipping, it could create an infinite loop of free shipping, potentially making a hole in the space-time continuum.
